Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
This is a placeholder privacy policy. It describes how Frigo handles data today, in active development. It will be reviewed and replaced by counsel before Frigo's public launch.
This policy explains what information Frigo collects, how it is stored, how it is used, and how you can ask us to delete it. Frigo is operated by Frigo LLC, based in Portland, Oregon. If you have questions about anything here, email privacy@cookfrigo.com.
What we collect
To run the app, Frigo stores the things you create and the account that ties them to you:
- Account information — your name, email address, and basic profile details.
- Recipes — the recipes you add, edit, and organize, including any notes you attach to them.
- Photos — images you upload, such as recipe photos and pictures of meals you've cooked.
- Posts — anything you share to your feed about what you're cooking.
- Social interactions — your connections to friends and family, and the comments, likes, and saves you make on their activity.
How it's stored
Your data is stored using Supabase, a hosted database and authentication provider, on Frigo's behalf. Access is restricted to the systems and people needed to operate the service.
How we use it
We use your information to operate Frigo — to show you your recipes, run the features you use, connect you with the people you cook with, and keep your account working. We do not sell your personal information.
How to request deletion
You can ask us to delete your account and the data associated with it at any time. Email privacy@cookfrigo.com from the address on your account and we'll take care of it.
